Lord-Lieutenant’s Certificate for Meretricious Service

Christopher, from near Dumfries, is an adult volunteer, has given more than 30 years service to the cadets, and is qualified, among other things, in first aid, power boating, rowing and adventure training. He received the award from the Lord-Lieutenant of Dumfries, Fiona Armstrong. 

The ceremony was held in Sanquhar - also there was the Lord-Lieutenant of Ayr and Arran, Sheriff Iona McDonald who was presenting awards to sea cadet instructors in her area.
