Langholm Common Riding

Grace has been helping to organise the event - notably the breakfast - for more than six decades. Over that time she has also been involved in numerous other community events, including helping out with Bonnie Langholm, the Christmas lights, and the tourist centre. Grace is a retired council officer and played a big part in organising the visit of moon man Neil Armstrong back in 1972. Here she is, pictured with The Lord Lieutenant of Dumfries, Fiona Armstrong, David Mundell MP, Oliver Mundell MSP, and the leader of Dumfries and Galloway Council, Stephen Thompson.
